After some research I have ordered plans from MIT in America for a Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 25.

Hilux

Last week I sold my car, partly because Alex gets  a company car soon and partly because I wanted a ute to kick around the house and beach. We took a day trip to Mt Maunganui to collect our new green Hilux.

Additions to the family

After a weekend away with work I arrived home to find Alex had acquired an eight year old giant ginger cat called Gordon. He's is exceptionally grumpy.

The cupboard is no more!

inally we got rid of the stupid cupboard that the previous people had put in the lounge going through into the bedroom's wardrobe. In the process to pulling it out we found the teenage boys stash of dirty magazines!

Christmas on the boat

After working through Christmas and New Year I managed to get a weekend out on the boat with Mum and Dad. It was a great week away and nice to spend some time with them.

We caught up with Jo and Paul and the Lidgards which was fun.

Dad and I ate scallops nearly everyday and we had some good diving. Late one afternoon on an incoming tide I was cleaning scallops when Mum and Dad were fishing, Dad hooked up on this beautiful snapper in the most unlikely spot.

Nicky and Bryce's wedding

Friday 11th January saw Nicky and Bryce tie the knot.

We all had a wonderful time dancing the night away. A few shots of the evening:

Seresin Estate

Alex and I have just had a great weekend in Marlborough. We landed in Blenheim and went through the Seresin estate vineyard and winery. We stayed Friday and Saurday night in the Bay of many coves in Queen Charlotte Sound. We walked up to the Queen Charlotte track and took some great photos.

House

Alex and I finally managed to buy a house. It's in Browns Bay on the north shore. Close to work and about 2 mins from the beach. Check out the pics.

Labour weekend

Yet another great weekend at Whananaki. The whole team turned up and the weather was on our side. We ate crayfish everyday with plenty of cold beers.
